Description
Quick and tasty dumplings made with shrimp and rice paper wrappers, ready in about 30 minutes.
Ingredients

- 8 rice paper wrappers
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- Dipping sauce of choice
Instructions
- Combine shrimp, green onions, cilantro, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft.
- Place a spoonful of the shrimp mixture on each wrapper.
- Fold and roll the wrappers tightly.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the dumplings until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
Chop shrimp small for better filling consistency. Do not soak rice paper too long, and work on a damp towel. Fry at medium heat for best results.
