- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine diced apples, cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Roll out the pre-made pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
- Pour the apple and cream cheese mixture into the crust.
- Fold the edges of the crust over the filling.
- Brush the crust with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

Notes
Use firm apples to maintain their shape. Allow the pie to cool before cutting to help the filling set.
