Baked Pears with Feta, Honey, and Cranberries

Delightful baked pears seasoned with feta cheese, honey, and cranberries; a perfect healthy dessert or appetizer.

  • 3 ripe pears, halved and cored
  • Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish (optional)
  • 75 grams crumbled feta cheese
  • 30 milliliters olive oil or melted butter
  • 30 grams dried cranberries
  • 30 milliliters honey
  • 1 gram ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  3. Brush the pear halves with olive oil or melted butter to give them a nice flavor.
  4. Arrange the pear halves cut-side up in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Lightly sprinkle the pears with ground cinnamon for extra warmth.
  6. Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until the pears are tender but still hold their shape.
  7. Once baked, remove the dish from the oven.
  8. Immediately top each pear half with crumbled feta cheese and dried cranberries.
  9. Drizzle generously with honey.
  10. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Best served warm; pairs well with ice cream or Greek yogurt.
