A creamy and spicy dip perfect for game days and parties, made with shredded chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce (Frank’s Red Hot recommended)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 tablespoons blue cheese dressing or ranch, for garnish
  • Fritos Scoops, baguette slices, carrot sticks, celery sticks for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, buffalo sauce, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly using a large spatula until well combined and creamy.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly in the bottom of a 1.5-quart baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Place the dish in the oven and bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, bubbly, and starting to lightly brown.
  6. Remove the dip from the oven and immediately drizzle with blue cheese dressing or ranch as desired.
  7. Serve warm with Fritos Scoops, baguette slices, and fresh carrot and celery sticks for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, cook the chicken in buffalo sauce. Use softened cream cheese for easy mixing. Adjust buffalo sauce based on spice preference.
