Cajun Chicken Pasta

A delightful dish combining creamy pasta with bold Cajun flavors, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup onion (diced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and slice.
  4. In the same skillet, add onions and bell peppers; sauté until soft.
  5. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing to a simmer.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and chicken; toss to coat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. A glass of white wine complements the flavors nicely.
