Description

Delicious and healthy Cheddar Ham Protein Biscuits made with cottage cheese, cheese, and ham, perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 16 oz cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 6 oz ham or turkey, diced
  • 1/3 cup chives, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly flour the parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, onion powder, garlic powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, whisked eggs, diced ham, and chives. Stir until everything is mixed well.
  4. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Use your hands if necessary.
  5. Transfer the dough to the baking sheet, flatten it into a rectangle, and cut it into 12 portions.
  6. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.
