- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy; set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in bacon fat.
- Add trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts, cooking until slightly tender.
- In a baking dish, layer the Brussels sprouts and crumbled bacon.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese, then pour over the Brussels sprouts.
- Top with bread crumbs, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Serve warm.
Notes
Use fresh Brussels sprouts for the best texture. Cook bacon until crisp to add crunch.
