Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in bacon fat.
  4. Add trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts, cooking until slightly tender.
  5. In a baking dish, layer the Brussels sprouts and crumbled bacon.
  6. In a bowl, mix heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese, then pour over the Brussels sprouts.
  7. Top with bread crumbs, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh Brussels sprouts for the best texture. Cook bacon until crisp to add crunch.
