  • 4 Russet potatoes
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Cream
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Thinly slice the russet potatoes and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Whisk in flour and cook for a minute before slowly adding cream, salt, and pepper to make the sauce.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer sliced potatoes, sprinkle cheddar cheese, and pour the sauce over layers.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 45-60 minutes until potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
