- 8 oz chicken sausage, sliced
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the orzo pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Notes
Serve hot with a sprinkle of Parmesan. Add a squeeze of lemon or red pepper flakes for extra flavor. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
