Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken and silky noodles in a buttery garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the cooked noodles and toss to coat in the buttery sauce.
  4. Serve the buttered noodles on a plate with sliced chicken on top. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Make sure to season the chicken well for the best flavor. For extra flavor, you can add grated Parmesan cheese to the noodles. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
