- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup cranberries (fresh or dried)
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, mix cranberry sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, and cranberries over medium heat until heated through and the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
Notes
Serve on a platter with toothpicks for guests. Offer with crackers or small bread slices. Garnish with chopped parsley or orange zest for color.
