Ingredients
Scale
- 400g pork sausage meat
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- Mixed herbs, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to season
- Ready-to-roll puff pastry
- Cranberry sauce
- Brie, sliced
- 1 beaten egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C fan and lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, squeeze the sausage meat and add the crushed garlic, orange zest, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Lightly flour a surface and unroll the pastry. Cut it in half lengthwise.
- Spread cranberry sauce down the middle of each half, leaving some space on the sides.
- Divide the sausage meat and spread it along the length of the pastry. Layer the Brie on top of the sausage meat.
- Brush one edge of the pastry with the beaten egg. Fold the other side over the sausage meat and seal tightly.
- Cut each roll into 4 pieces and poke slits on top to let steam escape.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg and bake for 25 minutes or until golden.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Serve warm with extra cranberry sauce for dipping. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months before baking.
