Description

Juicy meatballs made from beef and pork, flavored with warm spices, perfect for weeknight dinners and guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, breadcrumbs, and egg in a large bowl.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Brown the meatballs on all sides in the skillet, then transfer them to a baking dish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Mix by hand and do not overwork the meat to keep meatballs tender. For extra softness, consider adding a splash of milk.
