- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot of boiling water, blanch the green beans for about 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the blanched green beans.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the crispy fried onions on top.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Trim beans to similar length for even cooking. Use low-sodium soup if desired.
