A delicious dish combining tender steak, creamy sauce, and cheesy tortellini, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
  • Parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cracked black pepper (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, until cooked to your preference. Let the steak rest before slicing it into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and whole milk, stirring well. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Gradually stir in the parmesan cheese until fully melted and combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper as needed.
  7. Toss the cooked tortellini into the creamy sauce and add the sliced steak. Mix well to coat everything in the sauce.

Notes

Use high-quality cheese tortellini for the best flavor and texture. Add vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra freshness.
