Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for keto)
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Combine ground beef, feta cheese, chopped onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Shape into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- Combine tomato sauce and heavy cream in another pan, simmer until heated.
- Serve patties topped with the tomato cream sauce.
Notes
Do not overmix the meat. Let the patties rest after cooking to keep them juicy.
