Creamy Garlic Parmesan Steak Pasta

A delicious pasta dish that combines tender steak and pasta in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) pasta, such as fettuccine or linguine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak strips with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  3. Sauté the steak for about 3-4 minutes, until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, simmering over medium heat. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Season the sauce with Italian seasoning and more salt and pepper if needed.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and steak back into the skillet, tossing to combine and fully coat with the creamy sauce.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using grilled chicken or shrimp instead of beef.
