- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the shrimp and season with Cajun seasoning, cooking until shrimp are pink.
- Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
Notes
Do not overcook the shrimp to maintain their tenderness. For a smokier flavor, consider adding sausage or vegetables.
