- 1 lb fresh strawberries
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries and gently hull them to create room for filling.
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the bowl and mix until well combined.
- Use a piping bag or a spoon to fill each strawberry with the cream cheese mixture.
- Top with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use firm, ripe strawberries that hold their shape. Chill the cream cheese first for easier mixing. Use a piping bag for clean filling. For thinner filling, add a little milk.
