Ingredients

- 8 ounces pasta
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until they are soft and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the garlic to the skillet and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss well to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use fresh cheese and the right salt. Pair with a salad or bread.
