Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup toasted pecans (optional)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine honey and balsamic vinegar and heat until bubbling to create a glaze.
  6. Drizzle the glaze over the roasted Brussels sprouts and toss to coat.
  7. Optionally, add the toasted pecans or dried cranberries before serving.
  8. Serve warm as a side dish.

Notes

For extra crunch, finish under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, watching closely. Can be made ahead of time by roasting the sprouts and keeping the glaze separate until serving.
