Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator for best flavor.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off.
- Dredge the chicken thighs in the flour mixture, coating them well.
- Place the coated chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spray the tops of the chicken with olive oil spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy your crispy oven-fried chicken thighs!
Notes
Pat the chicken dry after the buttermilk so the flour sticks well. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
