Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter with the granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, vanilla, buttermilk, and red food coloring; mix until combined.
