Description

A low-carb pizza using a meat crust instead of dough, perfect for those on carnivore or keto diets.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or pork
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toppings of choice (pepperoni, vegetables, more cheese, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground meat, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Spread the meat mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet in the shape of a pizza crust.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the meat is cooked through and the edges are crispy.
  5. Remove from the oven, add your desired toppings, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a crisp edge, press the meat thin and even. You can mix beef and pork for more flavor. Drain excess fat after the first bake if needed.
