Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (for topping)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and almond flour. Heat in the microwave for about 1-2 minutes, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add the baking powder, garlic powder, and salt, mixing well.
  4. Once cooled slightly, mix in the egg until fully incorporated.
  5. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them into ropes. Tie each rope into a knot and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. In a small bowl, combine melted butter and minced garlic. Brush over the knots.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Optionally, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For a crisp top, broil the knots for 1 minute at the end but watch closely. Brush the garlic butter twice for more flavor.
