- 8 ounces fettuccine or any pasta of choice
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, cooking until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
- Reduce heat to low, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until combined and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For extra heat, add more Cajun seasoning or a pinch of red pepper flakes. Serve with lemon wedges and a side salad.
