Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or any pasta of choice
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, cooking until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  4. Reduce heat to low, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until combined and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra heat, add more Cajun seasoning or a pinch of red pepper flakes. Serve with lemon wedges and a side salad.
