Description

A delightful no-bake dessert featuring a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy layer, and fresh strawberry topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping
  • 1 (6 oz) package strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool.
  5. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth in a separate bowl.
  6. Fold in whipped topping and spread over cooled pretzel crust.
  7. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water in another bowl.
  8. Add sliced strawberries and allow to cool slightly.
  9. Pour over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set. Serve chilled.

Notes

Press the crust firmly for better structure and let it cool fully before adding the cream layer.
