A simple and delicious hard-boiled egg recipe with a spicy twist using soy sauce, hot sauce, and honey.

- 6 eggs
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- Water for boiling
Instructions
- Boil a pot of water and gently add the eggs. Cook for 8-10 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
- While the eggs are boiling, mix soy sauce, hot sauce, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and chili flakes in a bowl.
- Once the eggs are done, remove them from the pot and let them cool in ice water.
- Once cooled, peel the eggs and immerse them in the sauce mixture for at least 30 minutes for flavor absorption.
- Serve as a spicy snack or meal prep idea.
Notes
Store any leftover egg boils in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Keep them in the sauce for the best flavor!
