Festive Christmas Stuffed Pasta

A delightful dish of creamy cheese and spinach stuffed into pasta shells, topped with warm marinara sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Pasta shells or cannelloni
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Spinach
  • Garlic
  • Marinara sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, sautéed spinach, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
  6. Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Arrange the stuffed pasta in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with additional cheese if desired.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Don’t overcook the pasta; it should be al dente for the best texture. You can add herbs like oregano or thyme for extra flavor.
