Speculoos Balls

Delightful chocolate treats combining warm, spicy flavors of Gewürz-Spekulatius, creamy peanut butter, and rich dark chocolate, perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Gewürz-Spekulatius
  • 200 g Peanut Butter
  • 200 g Dark Chocolate
  • 5 g Coconut Fat
  • Zest of one organic Orange
  • Coarse Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Finely grind the Gewürz-Spekulatius using a food processor or blender.
  2. Add peanut butter and orange zest to the ground cookies and knead to form a sandy and oily dough.
  3. Take small portions of dough (about 10 g each) and roll into balls.
  4. Refrigerate the balls for at least one hour.
  5. Smooth and round the balls again between your hands.
  6. Melt dark chocolate with coconut fat in a water bath and mix well.
  7. Dip the balls into the chocolate and place them on a cooling rack.
  8. Sprinkle coarse sea salt on top and let them dry overnight.
  9. Store the finished pralines in an airtight container in a cool place.

Notes

For best results, chill the balls before dipping in chocolate and use high-quality dark chocolate.
