A delightful twist on traditional desserts, these fried strawberry cheesecake sandwiches combine creamy cheesecake with fresh strawberries in a crispy coating.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying
  • Sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on two slices of bread and top with sliced strawberries.
  3. Place the other two slices of bread on top to form sandwiches.
  4. Dip each sandwich in flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry each sandwich until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain.
