Description
A sweet and crispy dessert that combines creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries between slices of fried bread.

- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Oil for frying
- Sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture on two slices of bread and top with sliced strawberries.
- Place the other two slices of bread on top to form sandwiches.
- Dip each sandwich in flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry each sandwich until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain.
- Dust with sugar before serving.
Notes
Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying for a crispy texture. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less powdered sugar.
