Fun Witch Hat Halloween Cookies

Delicious and eye-catching cookies perfect for Halloween parties, decorated with chocolate frosting and candy corn.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • Candy corns for decoration
  • Black colored sugar or sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
  5. Roll dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Allow cookies to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, spread chocolate frosting on top of each cookie.
  9. Place a candy corn on the frosting to resemble the point of the hat and sprinkle with black sugar or sprinkles.
  10. Serve and enjoy your spooky treats!

Notes

Ensure butter is softened for easier mixing. For extra chocolatey flavor, add chocolate chips to the dough.
