- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
- Candy corns for decoration
- Black colored sugar or sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Roll dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool completely.
- Spread chocolate frosting on top of each cookie.
- Place a candy corn on the frosting to resemble the point of the hat and sprinkle with black sugar or sprinkles.
- Serve and enjoy your spooky treats!
