Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cooked shrimp, and shredded cheese.
  5. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley before serving. Enjoy warm with your choice of dippers.

Notes

Use room-temperature cream cheese for a smooth mix. Do not overcook shrimp to avoid them becoming rubbery.
