- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped cabbage and sauté for 5-7 minutes until slightly softened.
- Push the cabbage to one side of the skillet and add the shrimp to the other side.
- Cook the shrimp for 3-4 minutes until pink and cooked through.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the dish and season with salt and pepper.
- Stir everything together and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Use medium heat to keep shrimp tender. Cut cabbage evenly to ensure uniform cooking. Serve with rice or bread to enjoy the extra butter.
