Description
Tender steak bites paired with creamy Alfredo tortellini, perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1½ lbs steak bites (sirloin or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated or frozen cheese tortellini
- 2 tbsp butter (for Alfredo sauce)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated for best results)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 3 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak and set aside, keeping the garlic butter in the pan.
- Lower the heat to medium and add 2 tbsp of butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss the cooked tortellini into the Alfredo sauce, stirring gently to coat.
- Plate the tortellini and top with steak bites. Drizzle with reserved garlic butter and garnish with parsley, extra Parmesan, or chili flakes for heat.
Notes
Serve hot with a green salad or steamed vegetables. Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
