Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Alfredo Tortellini

A delightful dish combining tender steak and creamy pasta, perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • lbs steak bites (sirloin or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated or frozen cheese tortellini
  • 2 tbsp butter (for Alfredo sauce)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated for best results)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 3 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove the steak and set aside, keeping the garlic butter in the pan.
  3. Lower the heat to medium and add 2 tbsp of butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Toss the cooked tortellini into the Alfredo sauce, stirring gently to coat.
  5. Plate the tortellini and top with steak bites. Drizzle with reserved garlic butter and garnish with parsley or chili flakes for heat.

Notes

For the best flavor, use high-quality steak and fresh garlic. If you prefer spice, add red pepper flakes when cooking the steak.
