Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb cheese-filled tortellini
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Remove steak and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain tortellini and return to the skillet.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Stir until cheese melts and sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Add cooked steak back to the skillet and mix well.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Slice the steak thin to ensure it cooks quickly and stays tender. Don’t burn the garlic; add it after the steak browns. Use fresh parsley for a bright flavor.
