Garlic Steak & Cheese-Filled Tortellini Skillet

A quick and delicious one-pan meal featuring tender steak, creamy cheese tortellini, and a rich garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb cheese-filled tortellini
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Remove steak and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, cook tortellini according to package instructions.
  6. Drain tortellini and return to the skillet.
  7. Pour in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes.
  8. Stir until cheese melts and sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Add cooked steak back to the skillet and mix well.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

This dish pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread. Customize it by adding vegetables for extra flavor.
