Description
A quick and flavorful General Tso chicken dish perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2–3 tbsp chili paste
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add chicken cubes and season with salt and pepper; cook until browned.
- Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
- Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chili paste; cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add bell pepper and onion, and stir-fry until vegetables are tender.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
You can serve this chicken over rice or with noodles. For a low-carb meal, try it over cauliflower rice.
