Gingerbread Truffles

Delightful truffles combining gingerbread flavors with cream cheese and white chocolate, perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • Sprinkles or crushed cookies for coating

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the crushed gingerbread cookies, softened cream cheese, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet. Freeze for about 30 minutes.
  3. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
  4. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
  5. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with sprinkles or crushed cookies.
  6. Let the truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate is firm.

Notes

Use finely crushed gingerbread cookies for a better texture. Make sure the cream cheese is softened to mix easily. Feel free to add other spices or a dash of vanilla for extra flavor.
