Scale
- 10 cups cubed bread (sourdough or French)
- 1 large onion, finely diced
- 2 cups celery, finely chopped (about 3–4 stalks)
- 2 tbsp fresh sage, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

- Add the diced onion and celery. Sauté until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, place the cubed bread.
- Add the sautéed onion and celery mixture, along with the chopped herbs. Toss everything together gently.
- Pour in the low-sodium broth gradually, mixing until the bread is evenly moistened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover it with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider using a mix of different bread types. If you like a crunchier texture, bake it uncovered for the last 10 minutes.
