- Pepper, to taste
- Vegetables for skewering (e.g., bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, zucchini)
Instructions
- Cut the halloumi cheese into cubes and the vegetables into similar sizes.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, chopped thyme, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the halloumi and vegetables to the marinade, ensuring they are coated.
- Skewer the halloumi and vegetables alternately on wooden or metal skewers.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the cheese is golden and the vegetables are tender.
- Remove from grill and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, cut cheese and vegetables to similar sizes for even cooking. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
