Description
A delicious and visually appealing dish combining tender steak and shrimp, drizzled with rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb of steak (sirloin or flank steak)
- 1 lb of shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Cut the steak into cubes and season with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Thread the steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating between the two.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are opaque and the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the skewers before serving.
Notes
Cut steak in even pieces for uniform cooking. Use metal skewers if possible, or soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp.
