Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture until well combined.
- If desired, add food coloring to the dough and mix until the color is even.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool, then decorate with spooky candies.
