Halloween Treats

A variety of Halloween treats including spooky cookies and cupcakes

Fun and colorful treats perfect for Halloween celebrations, easily made and decorated.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Food coloring (orange and black)
  • Candy corn or gummy worms (for decoration)
  • Chocolate or white chocolate (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and add rice cereal. Mix until evenly coated.
  4. Divide the mixture into two bowls. Use food coloring to tint one bowl orange and leave the other black.
  5. Press the orange mixture into a greased pan and let it cool slightly.
  6. Use the black mixture to create spooky shapes using cookie cutters.
  7. Decorate with candy corn or gummy worms.
  8. Drizzle with melted chocolate for an extra touch.
  9. Allow to set before serving.

Notes

Make sure to coat your pan with enough grease so your treats don’t stick. Create a variety of shapes and colors to make them even more fun!
