Description

A creamy, cheesy pasta dish with diced ham, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) Box Rotini
  • 2 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Hot Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Mustard
  • 1 Pound Diced Ham
  • 4 Ounces Cream Cheese (Softened)
  • 1/4 Cup Sour Cream
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Add the uncooked rotini, chicken broth, water, hot sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and ground mustard to the pot.
  2. Place the lid on the pot and set the valve to sealing.
  3. Cook on manual, high pressure, for 5 minutes, then do a quick pressure release.
  4. Carefully open the pot and stir in the diced ham, cream cheese, and sour cream.
  5. Next, stir in the milk, then add the cheese 3 handfuls at a time, stirring in between each addition until smooth.
  6. Serve hot from the pot, spooning into bowls or on plates.
  7. Add extra shredded cheese on top if desired.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for faster melting. Adjust salt and pepper to taste at the end.
