Irresistible High Protein Pizza Bagels

Delicious whole grain bagels topped with cheese, pizza sauce, high-protein toppings, and veggies, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole grain bagels
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup cooked shredded chicken or crumbled tofu
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers and onions
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (oregano, basil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice each bagel in half and place cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over each half.
  4. Top with cooked protein and vegetables.
  5. Generously sprinkle shredded cheese over the toppings.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Garnish with Italian seasoning before serving hot.

Notes

Serve hot with a side of salad or veggies. Leftovers can be stored in airtight containers for up to three days in the refrigerator or frozen for a month.
