Description
A simple, tasty, and low-carb version of Salisbury steak made with ground beef and a rich mushroom gravy.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Cook patties until browned on both sides. Remove patties and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sauté until tender.
- Pour in beef broth and return patties to the skillet.
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For a low-carb side, serve with steamed green beans or cauliflower mash. Skim fat from the skillet for a thinner sauce.
